The latest Symantec Internet Security Threat Report - covering the reporting period of Jan. 1, 2007, through June 30, 2007 - highlights a shift in the profile of attackers from being part-time cybercriminals to making cybercrime their actual profession. 'cyber criminals are increasingly becoming more professional - even commercial - in the development, distribution and use of malicious code and services,' says the report.
